I’ve worn many hats in my 30+ year career: executive director of a resource center for architects and interior designers; general manager of a real estate development company; founder and principal of a communications consulting firm; shop girl; stationery designer, and a few others along the way. Each encompassed marketing and public relations in some form.
In my current role, I work closely with the director of strategic initiatives to shape communications around the university’s institutional priorities, both in University Marketing & Communications and in collaboration with our campus partners.
I also co-manage our office’s internship program, providing mentorship and support to help our interns succeed, here in our office and out in the world. Working with our students is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
I’m proud to be a WashU grad, with a BFA from the School of Fine Arts (now the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts).
I’m happiest when I’m at home hanging out with my husband and critters, pursuing various creative endeavors, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
