Tracy Collins

Senior Creative Director

As senior creative director, I am largely responsible for the visual presentation of the university through the work of the Office of Public Affairs, and help to ensure that the work we produce is as thoughtful, personal, and beautiful as WashU itself.

I lead the effort in creating the university’s communications resource guidelines, which help clarify how to present the stories of WashU through consistency of message, tone of voice, and visual style. I meet with campus partners and project teams as a creative advisor to help them create content—whether it is for print, web, video, or architectural signage—that is intelligent, human-focused, purposeful, and effective.

I’m a University College graduate, and prior to joining the Public Affairs team spent over two decades as a creative director in the agency world. Outside of work, I am kept busy by six dogs, seven chickens, an old house, and a long list of international travel destinations left to check off.
